Write what should not be forgotten!
In this pandemic situation of COVID-19 everyone is frustrated and exhausted, aren’t you feeling low, down in the dumps, stuck in a rut, plain and blank completely stressed out?
Of course the answer to that question is “YES” to everyone
Well writing is a kind of therapy that will help you out to leave an inheritance of thoughts as we all knew the fact that the man is a thinking animal.
1. Writing therapy:
To overcome such situation there are some ways to include with spiritual healing and emotional growth, including drawing, painting, being attentive to music, or interpretative dance. One among the methods, is WRITING THERAPY. For this you don’t have to be an expert writer or any kind of writer, all you need is to grab a pen and piece of paper and motivation to jot down.
2. Imagine yourself writing:
What will happen after you start imagining yourself as writing, it'll help and motivate you to pen down your thoughts into paper. And it’s this sense, alone, that may raise your motivation faster than telling yourself to merely have it away.
The Gift of thoughts has not been bestowed upon the other living creature by the creator. Thoughts within the mind are like “interstellar dust”. Our mind could be a vast universe.
3. Use pen and paper to reinforce your personal growth:
If you only grab a pen or keyboard, let yourself write horribly, irrespective of about sentence mistakes or words are write or wrong anything could happen because you're just writing for your self-growth, for your own peace of mind. Just get the first draft of your writing piece out!
It`s not necessary to think about perfection on your first attempt, just forget about being perfect at that moment and write with the flow of thoughts. It seriously doesn’t matter if it’s short, messy, missing substance. It’s easier to fix a rough draft than to create something entirely from scratch.
“You can always edit a nasty page. You can’t edit a blank page.” ― Jodi Picoult
4. Let your mind speak:
If you're not getting any quite idea what to write down about you merely can start following practices to urge yourself “unstuck” if you’re unsure what to write down about next.
• Write letter to yourself
• Write letter to others
• Start writing a poem
• Write the problem that you just have faced recently or even still facing.
Like there are several ways to speak up your mind in terms of writing, you just must be consistent in it. So what if first draft came out ugly, at least you tried then write another draft then go with a flow. As we know the fact that practice makes man perfect!
4. Write a story:
Each day of our life is surrounded with thousands of stories; we just ignore them. So what we need to do? we want to begin observing people around us. Start creating your own story about those people you cross daily like on bus stand, on school, on road, on grocery stores, etc. Create them as character and associate with a flow of your memory and imagination.
This is going to be something funny, but it actually helps your intent to feel better. And also this can also improve your writing skill.
And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” ― Sylvia Plath
